Q. About The Blend Inn

We aim to create a space where you can have a relaxing stay enjoying the company of others. We don’t have the luxuries that hotels have, but we recommend it to those who enjoy sharing space with other guests and innovative architecture.

Q. Check in/out

Check in: between 4pm and 11pm (If you will be late please let us know in advance)
Check out: by 12pm

One you are checked in (or luggage storage) you may come in and out freely with no curfew. We will explain at time of check in how to get back in late at night. If you would like an early check in or late check out please ask. Depending on the time there may or may not be a charge. You can also chill out in the lounge until check in if you arrive early.

Q. Food and drink

Breakfast is provided free of charge. Between 8am and 12pm you can have breakfast in the first floor lounge with freshly baked sandwiches from the bakery “Mirow” and vegetables etc. (No Japanese breakfast available.) It makes a great brunch too. The breakfast is free of charge so even if you decide not to eat it there is no change to the accommodation fee. There is also a shared kitchen where you can enjoy cooking meals yourself. We sell food ingredients in small portions. You can also purchase alcoholic drinks up until midnight.

Q. Shower and toilet

Showers and toilets are shared. There are 4 shower rooms and 7 toilets. There are women-only showers and toilets available. There aren’t any baths.

Q. Wi-Fi connection

You can use the wifi in all areas including rooms, rooftop and garden. There is also an iPad you can use 24 hours a day in the 1st floor communal space.

Q. Amenities

We provide the following for free: Bath towel, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hair dryer, rental bicycle, iron, umbrella, ear plugs.
We provide the following with a charge: toothbrush, washing machines.

Q. Luggage storage before checkin/after checkout

We can store your luggage between 7:30am and 10pm. If you are going to arrive unexpectedly early so long as it is between these hours there is no need to contact us.

Q. Children

We have a few plates, chairs and head boards for children. There is a small space where children can play also. There are rooms where you can sleep together in the same bed so please ask. The charge for this is free if the child is 5 years or younger and for 6 to 9 year olds the charge is ¥2,000. If you would like we can provide a breakfast for children at low cost.

Q. Staying as a group/sole-use of the accommodation

We can arrange the rooms depending on your needs if you would like to stay as a group so please ask for more information. We can also arrange sole-use of the accommodation for you.

Q. Credit cards

You can use a credit card for payment on your arrival.

Q. Rent-a-cycle

You can borrow a bicycle free of charge. Cycling around the coastal town is invigorating. It’s also easy to get to Umeda and Namba.

Q. Locker for valuables

In shared rooms and some single rooms there is are lockers with keys to keep your suitcase and clothes in.

Q. Car parking

There is space for only one car in the immediate vicinity. Please reserve in advance.

Q. Sending your luggage before check in

We can receive your luggage up to two days before your checkin date. Please write the name of the person the reservation is under and the check in date on the label, and send it postage paid。

Q. ParadaSan

ParadaSan is The Blend Inn’s “small cultural center”. It is a minimal space where artists and designers, musicians, chefs, and all kinds of people from different career backgrounds can have a meaningful stay thinking of new ideas and discussing them. We hope it becomes a lively “Artist in Residence” space. There is also a cassette player available that lets guests enjoy a space where they can listen to cassette tape music.

Q. Non-guests visiting/viewings

The accommodation is only for use by guests. Entry is not permitted to those not staying as guests and we do not allow viewings of the accommodation. You cannot come to see the accommodation before booking so please let us know any questions, concerns and/or things you would like to check by telephone or email.
